I ended up with about a 60% win rate, so I believe that I had an impact, but I never would have won those games without someone who can take and deal damage. The issue that I have is that basically for me, winning a bg was basically an RNG of if my team had enough whales to compete with the other teams whales. I really enjoyed charging in to fear with my spirit form and then pop my CC's to help my team win. Watching whales on Twitch or youtube showed me that I'm not even playing the same game.ġ) PVP - Battlegrounds: Running as a full support CC necro with fear legs, instant bone spikes, CC immunity bone wall, and everyone's favorite bone pillar CC was fun and rewarding. The more resonance they have, the harder it is to even come close to competing. As a F2P (mostly) player, I'm not even in the same league or ballpark as the P2W whales, dolphins, etc. I played a lot of those three modes, and I can tell you that the f2p experience here isn't rewarding long term. With my experience of the game, the endgame of Diablo Immortal is basically three things:ġ) PVP - battlegrounds, 2) PVP - shadow wars, becoming the Immortals, and 3) Heliquary raids (warbands appear to be blizzards desired role for all of us to do these in) I also made it to high gold in pvp, but I didn't really have a desire to grind out the rest of the rng to make it to legend as a pvp, stunlocking necro. I ran a ton of dungeons and sold all my gems (citrine, tourmaline, etc.) on the market for platinum to purchase 1 and 2 star gems. I did purchase the battle pass and the prodigies path. and endeavored to farm as hard as possible and "try-hard" if you will to make it as a mostly f2p player. I studied a ton of youtube videos on necro builds for pve, pvp, etc. I took me about 3 weeks to level a necro to 110 paragon with 2600 CR with 420 resonance. So I want to preface this post with where I stand in the game.
